What the middle finger dunk AI trend is
It started with a real clip. On 20 October 2026 @dihanator4000 posted a night 1v1 game on a park court: one player shakes his defender with a crossover, rises over him for a one-handed dunk and, while he is still at the rim, flips the middle finger at the camera. The clip shows the play three times, the last one in slow motion, under the caption "Bro did an emote mid dunk". It reached a million plays in five days.
Eleven hours after the original, the French creator @teuteuf6 posted "Mon prime 1v1 basket", an AI version with himself as the dunker, and it went even further: 1.17 million plays by 25 October. Since then the trend has run under several names: middle finger dunk, basketball middle finger trend, my prime 1v1 basketball, your prime 1v1 basketball moment and emote mid dunk.
Middle finger dunk AI: CapCut template or a full remake?
Most videos of the trend come from CapCut templates such as "Your Prime 1v1 Basketball Moment" or from AI video apps shown in tutorials. A template swaps your face onto a fixed clip; an app takes a photo and a prompt and gives a different play each time, often without the gesture. This page does a full remake: the original clip shows the play three times from different angles, and we turn it into one continuous take in which the dunk clearly goes in, with your photo as the dunker, in your own clothes.
- The play as one continuous play: the crossover at the top of the key, the drive past the defender, the spin to face the camera, the reverse dunk slammed back over the head and down through the rim with the middle finger up at the camera, the landing and the stare into the camera while the defender holds his head.
- The night court, the floodlights and the crowd on the baseline follow the original clip.
- The dunker really flips the middle finger at the camera mid dunk.
- You get a 9:16 MP4 in 1080p with no watermark, ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
Which photos work best for the middle finger dunk
Use one sharp photo per person with only that person in it. A full-body photo helps the jump and the landing look right, but the face matters most, because the dunk shows the dunker close up at the rim. Everyone keeps the clothes from their photo: a hoodie, a jersey, a suit or a costume all come through on the court.
One photo is enough: you take the dunker spot and the AI adds a defender in a black long-sleeve shirt. With a second photo your friend is the defender. Either spot can be a dog or a cat.
What happens in our two examples
A man with glasses and a beard in a mustard hoodie crosses over an older man in a plaid shirt on a floodlit night court, drives past him, spins to face the phone and jumps under the rim. He reverse dunks the ball back over his head and down through the net with the middle finger up at the camera, lands facing the crowd and grins while his friend grabs his head.
A tan chihuahua in a red collar dribbles past an AI defender in a black long-sleeve top, runs to the hoop, leaps facing the camera and slams the ball back over its head through the net with a paw raised at the camera. It lands on its hind legs under the hoop while the defender holds his head.

How to make it, step by step
Pick one or two photos
One photo per person or pet, with only them in it and the face sharp. Photo 1 is the dunker; photo 2 is the friend who gets dunked on. Leave the second slot empty and the AI adds a defender.
Upload and confirm
Drop the photos into the maker on this page and confirm everyone agreed. Photos go straight to private storage and are deleted after 30 days.
Wait for the render
The video usually takes about 5–10 minutes. You can close the tab; it waits in Your videos and we email you when it is ready.
Download and post
Download the 10-second 9:16 MP4 in 1080p and post it with the sound of the clip. Label it as AI-generated where the app asks.

Who it is for, and who it is not for
- For you if you want to join the middle finger dunk AI trend today with your own face, a friend who said yes, or your pet, without an app or a CapCut template.
- Not for you if you want a video without a rude gesture, a different play, or a video of children or celebrities: this is the 10-second night street ball dunk with the middle finger up, made from photos of adults or pets.
